Atom lawn edgers have been the golden standard for so long when it comes to getting a clean-cut edge on your lawn and now they are available in the battery.
Added bonus, long blade depth for edging garden plots. The lightweight and maneuverable design is perfect for edging any garden. The drive shaft of the edger is ground from solid steel with ball bearings and hardened precision spiral bevel gears.
The handles are comfortable to hold and allow you to easily maneuver the edger around your yard. The jockey wheel at the front is easily adjustable to control your cutting depth through 6 different positions.
With regards to runtime this depends heavily on the firmness of the ground and the deepness of the cut. Tested in virgin ground with the 2.5ah battery cutting at a depth of 100mm (more than the recommended 12-15mm) the edger lasted for a total of 15 minutes +. This would suggest that on a regular domestic block with a nature strip this would be ample time to complete an edge cut.
